What is proprioceptive exercise?
Proprioceptive exercise involves specific types of movement and focus that stimulate your proprioceptive system. This is a part of your nervous system that maintains alignment through the activity of specialized nerve fibers in the tendons and muscles. Your body uses this system to retain and maintain equilibrium.
Practiced over time, this meditative exercise leads to greater power and resilience. Posture naturally begins to improve along with more ease and range of movement. Emotionally, it helps prevent and resolve stress while empowering more functional choices. Mental clarity increases. Spiritually, it brings you into a deeper alignment with your soul directive and a life path that is stimulating and fulfilling.

The information is presented through video, audio and written materials and each experiential journey has step-by-step directions that are easy to follow.

Your Instructor
Saul Goodman is the founder and former director of the International School of Shiatsu, which has schools in 15 countries and has taught shiatsu throughout the US and Europe for almost 40 years. He is the developer of an evolving modality of shiatsu called Shin Tai. It offers a unique set of diagnosis and technique to reestablish the proper spatial relationship of the body by activating the client’s own inner healing power.
Saul's extensive experience with body energetics is the foundation of the light body activation materials. They offer a comprehensive system to access and calibrate our developing energy system.
Saul is the author of The Book of Shiatsu, Shiatsu Shin Tai and Light Body Activation.
Lynn Goodman is a Shin Tai practitioner and instructor who runs a private practice in Bucks County, PA. She has practiced and taught shiatsu shin tai and light body activation along with Saul for over 20 years and is the facilitator of the Light Body Activation Podcast. Lynn also takes care of website design, administration and the creation of the online teaching classroom.
