Supporting Your Expanding Self

It's important to take care of yourself as your chakras activate. As higher frequencies begin to stream through your body, more pressure is exerted against compressed or restricted areas. Here are some ways you can support your body to be as clear and free as possible, so that the accelerating energies don’t cause friction and discomfort:

  • Spend time outside in nature, allowing the nurturing and nourishing vibrations of this lovely planet to penetrate, cleanse and uplift you.
  • Do regular physical exercise, like calisthetics, walking, stretching, yoga, strength training.... whatever works best for you. Often it's beneficial to do a variety of activities, rather than just one all of the time.
  • Give yourself good quality fresh food, grown and cooked with love, and eaten in a relaxed manner. Even one really good meal a day is beneficial to your whole system.
  • Trust your inner guidance to lead you to the most optimal supplements, teas, and special treats without getting too rigid about any of it.
  • Get plenty of sleep in a dark, quiet room.
  • Cultivate nourishing thoughts and beliefs. There are so many wonderful resources in the form of classes, books and videos (free on YouTube and Instagram) that can support your emotional and psychological health.


Lastly, if you need outside assistance, reach out to teachers, practitioners and therapists for support. We are all growing in different ways at different times and it strengthens our whole human community when we share our vulnerabilities and our gifts with each other.

So to recap: Lifestyle choices are integral to increasing your capacity to work with this material. Make sure to take care of yourself as you evolve. You are an expression of life, an expression of this universe, and caring for yourself is caring for life.

Your Chakras are Always Turning....

Your chakras are always active to some extent. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to consciously integrate working with them into your daily life. You can do any of the practices from this course whenever you want to adjust your energy, strength, or mood. You can also do some chakra harmonization to stimulate your creativity or even purely for entertainment!

Notice when thoughts about your chakras pop into your awareness. This can be a signal that it’s a fruitful time to sit someplace quietly for a few minutes and tune into them. Harmonizing your chakras even a little bit before engaging in regular activities is a valuable use of your time. The most potent contribution you could make to our world is the gift of an empowered you, brimming with exuberant health, awareness and vitality.
